Bill C-22, Lawful Access Act, 2026, is currently before the Canadian Senate, under consideration by the Standing Senate Committee on National Security, Defence and Veterans Affairs.

With my University of Waterloo colleague, Ian Goldberg, and Georgia Tech colleagues Michael Specter and Peter Swire, we have submitted a brief to the Senate committee.
