Construction on the Sagrada Familia church started in 1882 and continues to this day. Once it's completed, the church will stand as the ultimate masterpiece of Antoni Gaudi, and I hope I'm around to see it.

The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, is perhaps Frank Gehry's most iconic building. The undulating curves of the building's exterior are covered with titanium plates, no two of which are the same.
