World Tour: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Though Washington is now the centrepiece of US government, Philadelphia, and especially Independence Hall, was the starting point, where the Declaration of Independence was first signed on July 4, 1776, as well as host to the Constitutional Convention in 1787 and temporary capital from 1790 until Washington D.C. was ready in 1800.
