Brrr
Chart of Travel Temperatures vs. Waterloo Temperatures Brrr, it’s sure cold here in Waterloo. Back from my trip to Australia and New Zealand. I’ll be posting more pictures as I start going through and categorizing them, but in the meantime, here’s a little chart I’ve put together showing the temperatures while we were travelling. It shows the temperatures range in Waterloo in cold blue and the temperature range wherever I was in warm red. Don’t hate me because I was warm, or because I was swimming on a beach, or because I have a bit of a tan.

Rangitoto Island
Lana, Gus, and I on Rangitoto Island Lana, Gus, and I have arrived in Auckland, New Zealand. We spent the day hiking on Rangitoto Island, a volcanic island formed only 600 years ago. We hiked to the top of the crater, where you see us at left, and 
Looking thoughtful in a lava cave made our way through the darkness of some really cool lava caves, some of which were big enough to stand up in. Tomorrow we’re off for a drive around the North Island of New Zealand for a few days.

Wind chill minus 30
The words every traveller wants to hear about their home while they’re away:
Cloudy periods. 60 percent chance of flurries late this evening. Local blowing snow. Wind west 30 km/h gusting to 50. Low minus 19. Wind chill minus 30.
