Senate election

I’m currently running for a graduate student position on the University of Waterloo Senate. I’ve got some more information about the election and my positions on my university web site and voting runs online from today through Wednesday night at 8pm. You can vote online at the University Secretariat web site.

Update 2005/04/28: Election was a success! I’ll take office on May 1, 2005, for 2 years.

Blog slowing down

After a dearth of entries over the past few months, I’ve decided to move the focus of my site away from my blog for the time being. While I was away at Oxford I had lots to report on — travels, looking silly in a polo helmet, dining on high table — but my life is a bit more routine these days.

My site will be changed to default to my home page, not this blog page. There is a new section on the home page with recent updates that I will use to keep people updated on changes to the site. I’ll still try to write the occasional blog entry, especially when I’m travelling or have new photos to share. You can check the blog page or just look for it in the list of updates on the front page.

Thanks for reading these past few years. Stay in touch!
