Next Weekend: Spain
Seeing as how I made it through 5th week successfully, I’ve decided to go to Spain, next weekend. Any recommendations from travellers or fans? I’m planning to spend two days in Barcelona and two days in Madrid.

Too bad you’re not going now. If you were, you should go to Linares. The super-GM chess tournament is being held there right now. ‘Cause let’s face it. For all his flaws and childishness, Kasparov is still the best in the world

Don’t do 2 days in Madrid. There is nothing there. Do an afternoon in madrid tops. You best bet is 2 days in barcelona and 2 days in either seville or valencia.

Doug, do you remember the Spanish guy who lived in Ottawa for a month in the summer of 2000? Alejandro? I think I have his address somewhere. I’m puting the odds at 1/50 that you’ll use it:-).
